A Soldier’s Demise

This border of memorable death and immortal demise,
My veins witnessing crimson sojourn light,
Red reality of my dreams, my life I sacrifice,
Winds screaming my name, sinking in night….

Body adorned with scars, soul filled with passion,
Breaths departing soul for a divine ambition,
The crescent and the star, the red apparel,
Live lived in a moment, and this is its fable.

A distinguished destiny, wear the stars on my shoulders,
This is all but the romance of a soldier,
For a nation to witness the crimson sojourn light,
Winds screaming my name, sinking in night….
