Bewitched my breaths – Snake Charmer

Bewitched my breaths on the charmer’s shawm,
Venomous notes drowning in storm,
Statue of dawn bleeds again;
Black birds take away hope of dawn.

Eyes dazzled by dark, blinded by light;
Infidelity rising; desires ignite;
Slaying black prayers; infidelity recites;
A curse adorned in worship’s guise

Scripts erased from gospel of lies;
Everlasting images: unheard cries;
My grotesque heart; a withered petal;
Death’s blizzard; the tears arise.

Border of nothingness, ecstasy crucified
A black rose; lays my executed pride;
Your denials; my oblivion—magnetized;
Scratching the shore; the waves collide.

Stabbing reflections; delusions aside;
Static temptations; deviations paralyzed;
My life; a castle of graves;
Graveyard of promises, love songs versified.

Souvenir this loneliness of love’s demise;
Heights sinking in fantasies reprise;
Intersect my dreams, destiny’s denials
I—a snake, bewildered, hypnotized
